GOVERNMENT INCENTIVIZES AND DISINCENTIVIZES

If you want to simply boil down exactly what government fundamentally does: Government deems what is desired and what is not desired regarding "ITS" interests and agendas and chooses which policies to affect those interests and agendas.

I will provide two examples of incentives and disincentives in play being employed by the Trump administration.

Example # 1. President D.J. Trump has disrupted the entire world's economy by instituting tariffs in order to destroy the old regime of economic policies that are no longer in the interests of America. President Trump has asymmetrically created both an incentive and disincentive. Break and discard the old and install the new.

Eric Trump on incentive and disincentive: "I wouldn't want to be the last country that tries to negotiate a trade deal with @realDonaldTrump," "The first to negotiate will win — the last will absolutely lose," he continued. "I have seen this movie my entire life..." Eric Trump accurately and succinctly describes how his father operates when he has the power and the leverage.

America has for many years provided favor in trade to many developing economies around the world so that they could bring themselves into a more sustainable and civilized first world economic condition. After World War II America essentially saved and rebuilt the entire economy of the world through its leadership and policies when no one else had the capability to do so.

Think about it: Germany, France, Britain, Japan totally destroyed by the aspirations of an actual radical Leftist fascist regime headed by Adloph Hitler and associates looking to in real terms physically and ideologically take over the world. America and its industrial capability and its economic power along with its allies stopped that cold. There is nothing more powerful than the combination of the American Constitution, what it Subjectively structures, and properly regulated Capitalism. NOTHING!

Example #2. And now we move on to pure brutal Strategy Over Morality dis incentivization. The Trump administration is transmitting into the world that there will be no tolerance for any country or organization that threatens the economic security of America or the world through violence and terrorism. There is no mistaking what the message is here.

WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON: STRATEGY OVER MORALITY

This brutal form of messaging and disincentivizing may be disturbing for some:

Trump shares footage of airstrike obliterating dozens of Houthis: ‘They will never sink our ships again!’ 

When you have the credible power both economically and militarily to affect the actions and thinking of those who present roadblocks to your agendas and policies and have the ability to create both incentives and disincentives and you are willing to properly use them, that is what is called leadership. Good, bad or otherwise.

Love him or despise him, President D.J. Trump is a non-politician politician taking care of business like no other political leader is able. And this is exactly what America, and the world are now in such desperate need of.
